To tell the truth
To tell a lie
To make one cry
Hate is what rumors can bring
A voice is where rumors can start
It's also where they can stop
Being shy and quiet
Only brings you peace
But without all the problems in life
How could leaders come to be
Teachers can tell you about the world
But to understand it
You have to observe

Sounds like you are destined for a career in either Sociology,
or maybe Psychology.
Both of these professions require the ability to observe and
to draw accurate conclusions from what we observe.
I had to read your poem through a couple of times;
it appeared deceptively simplistic until I began to think
about it.
A good read none-the-less.*s*
