Broken hearted
Forgoten and beatin' down
Tortured in the soul
The cure is not one they will like
It's only the thing we hate most

This broken man has to go on for the sake of his loved one
But the cure for this sickness will never be like your's
His cure is just getting lost with her love
Your cure is only the bitter pill and the bottle

Laughter is only someting you do to forget your lies
I can lose my pride, but I can't lose her love
She's the only one that makes me feel whole
This feels like we've only fallen off the edge
And now we're just standing on the bottom
We're only human and all of you forgot that

This broken man has to go on for the sake of his loved one
But the cure for this sickness will never be like your's
His cure is just getting lost with her love
Your cure is only the bitter pill and the bottle

I feel like I've been beatin' down by the fall of society
Now I don't know how to deal with the pain
This is why I'm not like you
I've shattered my soul away from your's
And that's I'm not like you
And that's why I'm that broken man
I've been torn down by all of you
And I've been restored by her love
Now I'm here to live like I want to, again

I'm not the one who killed the soul you knew
I'm just here to live, not judge, not kill
This is not my lie, this is just my life
I'm the tornmented monster you locked away
And you thought it would be forever
But now I'll have to say is goodbye
Because I'm gonna live like you ever again
I'm gonna be myself and not what you want me to be
