crimson tears fall on dead lips as silver spears rip through this is it it's what we've fought for the choice is up to you set them free or spare you life you've only got two options braver than me you'll die and bleed rather than take their offer
but, my love i wish you'd listened for their warnings were fair game you didn't hear that 'none shall live' their honest mouths pretained

Erg.. with a husband in Iraq, this poem hurts my heart - and touches my fears as I think of the beheadings that ave occurred. I imagine it is written with your own visions/feelings - but this is what it brings up for me.... very touching. thanks. |
