to travel back into the past
just to see your gleaming smile
just to sit with you while
just one more day to prove
that we were meant to be
but that would prove nothing
cuz you no longer love me.
just one more day to love you
would make my life complete
cuz when we were together
you swept me off my feet.
just one more night to hold you
in my arms so very tight
just one more time to be with you
would make everything so right.
just one more time to walk with you
to watch the long sunrise
just one more time to comfort you
and stare into your eyes.
just one more time to laugh with you
just one more time to cry
just one more time to lay with you
and be by your side.
just one more time to tell you
exactly how i feel
just one more time to tell you
that i will never heal.

You commented on one of mine poems and i thought that sicne we have had the same experience i should check out some of your work. This is a beautiful write... i just know how you feel...it's really hard. The emotions shown are strong. Good write and dont stop writing.
