don't you lie to me

Dont you stand there and lie to me.
Pat my head and tell me everythings going to be alright.
Not when I know somethings wrong.
Not when I hurt this much inside.
Dont you tell me to go back to class like everythings okay.
The halls are getting clearer but I dont care.
Do not lie to me and tell me that Im not sick.
You stole that envelope and now you get to tell me the wonderful news.
Dont you make me think that Im alright.
Dont you tell me that these voices inside me are mine.
Dont you tell me that I really am this dirty, not when I havent done anything.
Put the results back on her desk.
Dont look at me with those sad eyes as you shred that letter.
It isnt yours to destroy.
You dont wanna believe it because you are selfish and you dont wanna deal with the pain.
It isnt your pain to deal with.
Dont tell me Im fine.
Dont tell me everythings gonna be alright.

Because nothing will ever be alright.
