You ask me questions again
But lack of response leaves you in frustration
I wont bother to answer
For all I say just gets lost in translation
And as your words fall on me
I want to tune you out and change the station
Withdraw back into myself
In my mind enjoy this fading sensation
You give me that look again
Like your trying to pry the thoughts from my mind
But my defences are up
So you can keep on trying, but you wont find
Why I wont let you help me
No one can and that is why Im running blind
I've opened my heart before
And upon my beating soul the vultures dined
