ONE CURE FOR THE BLUES

Contributed by lovingcritters on Monday, 12th July 2004 @ 01:07:27 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

"ONE CURE FOR THE BLUES!"

I can't contain my silence
My teacher was experience
So many souls blue.........
One word for you--

"ACCEPT"
If you have tried hard
To change your situation.........
New direction is always barred.
No change? Then face your demon!

"ACCEPT"
Don't get caught in a rut
This little word is no secret.......
to accept, to agree,
Maybe painful, achy!
"ACCEPT"
Face life's demons head on!
A sign place over your bed in Neon!
"ACCEPT"
If someone your heart broke.
Don't pick up where they left off.......
yourself to provoke.
"ACCEPT"
Lost a dear loved one?
Totally grief stricken!
"ACCEPT"
Be very kind to your soul
Positive control, console.
"ACCEPT"
Poor health? Convalescence?
Rest, heal with patience.
"ACCEPT"
Horrible abusive childhood?
Can't change even if you could?
"ACCEPT"
If you love You, those near?
Pulling them down severe!
"ACCEPT"

Center thoughts on another.
Go help a child......volunteer!
Accept, don't be withdrawn.......
Accede, no objecting, and move on!

Help is just a call away......
Pick up your phone today!
Help you'll find in a Doctor
Call now, soon you'll be better!

If you are a "God" person,
Forlorn spirits He will gladden
Give him your burden.
Let him keep it--your hurt taken!
He will help you, if you try too!

Written especially
for all forlorn souls
with lots of love.....

Oh yes acceptance can help a lot but the problem is most people dont want to accept the situation. That leads to their downfall. I too have been situations as such, acceptance is the only way but its never easy. Great advice Connie.

Con Sue, You are so right. Such a hard thing to do, but in God's time all comes out according to His will. Thank you for sharing this. I needed to read it today.

ACCEPT!.. such a simple answer yet one that is wreathed in experience and wisdom... while I agree in principle in my case I find no similar obesience... sometimes especially for the young bitter resistance is what we are more prone to provoke... oh well... again a write that would inspire dormant souls... salute to you dear lady... for both your talent and kind intentions... how I wish I wish..I wish....and I wish...but again that old adage....if wishes were oceans... I would be swimming right now would'nt I? ...ha ha ha and with that I bid adieu.
