I see you,
for the first time
as you truly are.
I see the faults my
love filled eyes
did not wish to see.
I will not kill myself
because of you.
I do it for no one but
myself.
So I have won the war.
The darkened clouds of
heartbreak,
will soon pass,
and leave
nothing but sunshine.
I will not let you tear me down,
I'm done crying over you.
Not willing to play
your games anymore.
I'm leaving your stuff
at the curb.
My memories will
dull with time,
but thanks.
You've made me stronger.

This was awesome I am glad you are leaving someone who you did not at first see in a clear light. I loved the part about the darkened clouds of heartbreak would soon pass. I found that strangely inspiring.
