I'm sorry I tried to help
I'm sorry for being there for you
I'm sorry I couldn't be better
I'm sorry I couldn't be enough for you
I guess I'm not as smart as I thought I was
I thought I had all the answers
I know how to live my life
But I'm sorry for being an example
I'm on my own again
To fight for myself
Because nobody else does
I'll live on alone
And keep things inside
And when love comes around
I'll once again
Run away and hide
If you'll believe in me
I'll believe in you
Put your trust in me
Think things through
If you have any hope left
It's not my fault
Don't bring me down with you
Be the best that you can
You can be what you want to be
