You are gentle this night
You take her through these motions
These moments that follow her journey
To the afterglow
They remember her transformation
Beautiful at the ease of your touch
You release this woman, Induce her birth
And hold her in the darkness,
Though fragile,
To scare away all that she has suffered
And you too will recall
For you have shared her breath
Her soul
And in words
She does not quiteown the voice for yet
She will lead, one day,
From her thoughts
To an answer of you.

| This is beautiful! I don't know if I'm correct in my interpretation, but I hope that I effect someone someday the way "she" has been effected. This is a great write! Your use of words is wonderful! |
