Today was the day,
Two twilights set into the night
One positioned to break the bounds we set
The other filled with things we'll regret
Destiny unfolds, Desert, Freeway
Top down, eyes closed, sun baked skin
Just an escape, Withdrawn, Time to get away
Seven days slivered into icy sin
Memories blurred, emotions left behind
Abstract feelings, cannot be defined
Illusions, dancing before my face
Spiritual transformation, monsters jumping in place
Silhouette image staring back at me
Hollow, falling stars wont let me be
Silver streaks blaze deep in the sky
This world, I'll never relate, at least I tried
