Sitting here encased in fear
Surronded by pain.
From my eye escapes a single tear
My faith is starting to wane.
But this void you left inside
Makes every fiber of my being numb.
Makes me feel like I've died
You make me feel like I'm dumb.
You thought you could take my love for free
Thought I would always be here.
You figured that I wouldn't see
Made me think you would always be near.
Now someone else you are with
And I'm left here with these memories.
The ones that turned out to be a myth
The lies you sold me just to appease.
Now they have all been stripped down
All that are left are the broken lies.
So many fake "I love you's" it makes my head pound
These thoughts swarm in my head like flies.
So all that's left to do
Is to get out the razor and cut deep.
Be sleeping the eternal sleep,dreaming of you
Leaving you with all the guilt and shame,forever yours to keep.
