I never liked my self in the beginning
filled with dark negativity
I craved
I loathed
and now the story is told by the scars
and the nails
hammered by my own heart
its in the smile in my face
the skin flakily traced
that gives me away
the happy thoughts so long ago strayed
now Im left cold and hard
these eyes green
show a apparent blue
if someone cared they'd
understand this to be a clue
my hands weary
trembling from anticipation
my soul poured into this pen
the pain never ends
rivers running cold and clear
rivers no-one knew were here
this glass has cracked
and as the shards fall
they create a beautiful mayhem
only I know exist
I must live
a normal life
never knowing what I thrive
till Ive lost it
till its gone
maybe then Ill
know whats so wrong
