LOVE SICK BIRD

I heard a happy Lark, sing to thee
He sung his song with such voracity
That he could not help ,but fall from the Tree
That Tree was in Coventry.
The Lark fell to the muddy thick ground
Only to be chased by a bloody Hound
Frightened the poor Bird out of it's wits
It nearly, right then and there, had chicks.
The poor little Bird was in such a state
He only wanted to sing to his mate
He tried in a glorious effort to hide
But when the Hound found him, he died.
