My tears gather as a storm.
Unleashed...they flourish in the night.
And every tear is a soul prayer gained release -
a longing told across my cheeks.
I cry into the night.
I cry into the night...even as I dream your
reaching hand,
I cry -
in your touch.
By dawn...my tears are dried.
I wake...remembering your reaching hand that stilled the gathering storm.
I wake...and remember your touch
that met each tear that fell -
longing for your hand.
And each tear
Longs-
For a single
Tender
Touch.
I see your hand reaching.
And my heart cries on.
