The wind blows so softly Theres rain mist in the air The moonlight above me Shines away the dispair.
The cool calming winds Blows back my hair I look towards the mountains Theres no one anywhere.
Under the moonlit waterfall, lies the endless stream That takes you far away, to the dreams that lie between I dont know if Ill make it there, its quite far away. But I know Ill see you there, somehow, someday
I look towards the moon The light shines down on me I see my best friend (You) Is this a dream?
For it has been years Since I seen you last A tragic accident That I left burried in the past!
Under the moonlit waterfall, lies the endless stream That takes you far away, to the dreams that lie between I dont know if Ill make it there, its quite far away. But I know Ill see you there, somehow, someday
Everything is okay (I tell myself) itll be okay (should I trust myself?)
Under the moonlit waterfall, lies the endless stream That takes you far away, to the dreams that lie between I dont know if Ill make it there, its quite far away. But I know Ill see you there, somehow, someday
The wind blew so softly The smell of rain in the air Undernieth the moonlit waterfall Ill lose this dispare.
Over the mountains Theres no one I can see No one can help you Help me find these dreams
Under the moonlit waterfall, lies the endless stream That takes you far away, to the dreams that lie between I dont know if Ill make it there, its quite far away. But I know Ill see you there, somehow, some
Under the moonlit waterfall, lies the endless stream That takes you far away, to the dreams that lie between I dont know if Ill make it there, its quite far away. But I know Ill see you there, somehow, someday

Ooh I very much enjoyed reading this, the imagery is very beautiful and lends a tragic air to the poem...well done, this is a great write. |

First of all, I think the poem is beautiful, or did you write it as a song? If it's indeed a poem, that you need to do some editing.
The repeating verse is a chorus and can belong there if it's a song. But if it's a poem, then it's overdone. I found myself skipping over the repeats.
Also, it wouldn't hurt to run it through a spell checker.
It's a nice piece of work, and worth the extra effort to polish it.
