Where to start You broke my heart And tore it apart Forgotten like all your worries I don't want to hear all your sorries You think you're so bold But really your heart is cold Your soul is so lost And this will certainly cost Like an old habit, I was used I don't understand, there's no excuse You don't care that my tears flow And I hate seeing you always glow Everytime I see you my hate gets stronger The more I see you it just last longer You're always on my mind And I wonder why Maybe because you were that special guy I pray to the Lord, Please take that sword That was put in my heart To tear it apart

Welcome to YPDC, Tigerpaws! Such a sad, heartbreaking first post! *sigh*
You will find that many of the poets here suffer from the same affliction. Ah! - the broken heart... so terribly painful, but so wonderfully inspirational in terms of poetry. And, at YPDC, the lovely bonus is that when you drop a sad, melancholy poem - you often find a lot of care, concern and support.
Please do settle in and stay a while - It is awfully nice to have you join us,
