This land is dead Long has the civilized man Been bloodless and gone
But one man still stays Exiled by his fellow kin Madman Witch
He sits atop the rock King of this land Land of nothing
All his life A desire to fit in To be part of something So now Amongst this forgotten fortress Symbolizing mankinds selfish and evil ways This man has become leader The new revolution To put war against all evil To triumph
Failure does not exist here
King of all the lost King of those doomed King of the unlucky
Wish for salvation The mighty are hidden Soon to rise above From the depths of hell Silenced no more

It's hard to believe this poem hasn't gotten the reads! I like it. I read a great passion behind the author's contempt for evil and hope - no - resolve to prevail over evil. Good work. |
