I have a burning in my heart
to take my place,
to do my part.
I have an aching in my soul
to do whats right,
to reach my goal.
I have a thirst for inner peace
a thirst I know
will never cease.
I have a taste for all thats true
to feed myself,
to see it through.
I feel the gift thats given me
a perfect sense of inner love,
so grateful I will always be
for this great gift from heaven above.

I think that we all have a thirst for that inner peace...this is a wonderful verse. Perfect rhyme and flow..beautifully composed.
