Or was it just a dream
I wanted to run
Then I saw you

So much has happend
These pictures are no longer true
I wish this was the dream
And I was with you
But for all the nights that were black
now turns to blue
My savior I have failed to make
any other than you
I have failed to make a difference
from black and you

light & day
you are they
bringing smile to me
leaving me alittle bit
happy

Chasing sleep and space
Scrabbling my memories for you
Searching home and faith
But knowing the past is erased
_____________
If only the dream was real
And this was when I was asleep
Then I would love the feel
And learn how to keep
Everything I took for granted
If only you weren't the dream
I could sleep with these things
Rather than feeling torn
And praise you like the queen
Instead of taking you for granted
