I tryed to tell you how I felt in a letter
Thinking things would soon be better
I wanted you to read that book
Thinking it might change the way you look,
At my sexuality.
I bet you didnt even open it
If it belonged to me you'd probably throw it away
And then you would say:
"Your not gay, Your not thinking straight,
Being gay is not your fate"
You have no idea how much I need your acceptance
You have no idea, Do you even care?!
No you dont, your both ignorent and full of hate,
Of anyone diffrent than you.
i need you to accept me
Cant you see that?
I need you to.
Im a dyke, and you hate that part of me
Why are you doing this? Why do you say those things?
You hate me, I know you do
Dont Deny it.
Knowing that you wont accept that im gay,
I tried to kill myself,
Your views didnt change, not a bit,
Now how can you just sit,
Knowing I'm hurting,.
Because of you.
So now im through
I give up trying to help you understand who i am
Now I'll be alone, stay away from me
Dont you dare ask whats wrong
You know whats wrong
Cant you hear me listening to that song?
Its to you.
You said you dont wanna hear it,
Fine I wont talk to you ever again
Being gay is not just a trend, its who i am
I'll never be with a man.
I left you a letter and left for days,
Thinking you could accept my ways
Please accept me,
I need you,
I need you to.

This is such a touching plea for acceptance... Give them time....it can be hard for them to accept....

as long as you can accept yourself then that should be all that matters, but in life we do tend to seek others approval,I used to but I dont anymore, I am not totally happy with being me, but I will get there one day, weather you are bi, gay or straight your parents should love you no matter what, like someone sadi they'll just need time to adjust and get used to the idea... takecare hun,
