Losing Control

Contributed by lilblkcat on Friday, 23rd July 2004 @ 02:38:35 AM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

I see you from across the room
Youre looking by my way
Oh how much I hate you
I wish youd go away

I remember the times you hurt me
You make me want to scream
But in my time of desperate needs
You always were on my team

I cant recall how we met
Its seems like such a blur
I just had a hard day
And suddenly there you were

Youve got this thing about you
Its as if you were a drug
Ive become so addicted to you
I just cant pull the plug

But its an uphill battle
One I never win
You seem to have control of me
I can see your evil grin

Theres no use in fighting it
I am under your command
I walk to you from across the room
Its as though you had this planned

Today was different though
I think you had enough
You caught me by the throat
And dared me to call your bluff

I stared directly at you
You didnt even twitch
You knew it was going to be today
Thats when you flicked the switch

The room began to get so dim
I felt warm throughout
Even though I wanted to
I wasnt able to shout

Right before all faded black
I gripped you in my hand
How can a knife control some one
And put them where they stand?
