Have you ever made a wish
an had that wish come true
Did you wish for someone to love you
and keep on loving you
Did you wish that you would love that person
the very same way too
That you would live your lives together
happy in all you do
To have a wish you made
happen in real life
To have found your true love
and she becomes your wife
Is more than anyone could wish for
a miracle in itself
The two of you together
in love and in good health
Having A WISH GRANTED
who could wish for more
For wishes seldom come about
and rairly, what your looking for

Yes....from age 16 I wished for a man to love me for always and forever...lol..and after 25 yrs of wedded bliss....I think I can safely say, my wish did come true..

Not all wishes come true. Some poems touch home more than we want them to. It is wonderful poem.
