As I hold up my sign, I walk peacefully, quietly, but willingly, for my rights.
Someone threatens me, Yet, I walk peacefully, quietly, but unfearfully, for my rights.
There's a gun pointed at me. But, I don't run. I can't run. It's too late. I have been shot, in the head.
And, although I lay dead, the sign is still in my hand, peacefully, quietly, but willingly, to protest my rights.

I liked where that was going. 'shot, in the head' seemed a little misplaced when I read it.. but I liked it-- very powerful. |
