To my dead love

Contributed by trustisajoke on Saturday, 24th July 2004 @ 07:25:08 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

You killed yourself today
i cant believe its true
the pain inside me
is ripping my heart in two
this agonizing pain
makes me cry out
this unbeliveable pain
you have inflicted on to me
you told me youd take me away and make me your wife
how could you be so selfish as to take your life?
was it really that bad
with me as your girl
is it my fault why your not in this world
you gave us no signs
of your pain deep inside
but now you left me
alone in this world
i hope you are happy
you killed me inside

That was a great poem filled with emotion. I'm very sorry for your loss, I had a friend who killed herself, not exactly the same though. Don't blame yourself at all. Suicide is a selfish thing and it's not your fault. They tend to block out the ones that love them and think that no one would care that's why they do it. It's not your fault at all. I am very sorry for your loss again. And I agree that the last line is the best line it really shows what someone doing that does. Suicide not only kills that person, but the ones who love them as well.
