I Hate Money

I hate the money,
That separates the people and,
I hate the money that brings us apart.
I hate the money,
That makes us compete and,
I hate the money that makes people lie.
I hate the money,
That attracts the greedy and,
I hate the money that grows.
I hate the money,
That we all depend on and,
I hate the money with fear.
I hate the money,
That causes people to decieve and,
I hate the money that makes you grieve.
I hate the money,
That makes us worry and,
I hate the money we keep.
I hate the money,
That builds and builds and,
I hate the money you need.

| great write and i feel the same way money only buys treasures it can never buy love and happiness something i crave and want more than having money and greed any day. |

| I suppose we really can trace most of society's problems directly or indirectly to the need for money, although I reckon we can take it a step further and trace them to humans' need to better their own lives in the pursuit of happiness. But nice work nonetheless. |

| I definitely agree with you, I hate money in a lot of ways but mostly because we need it so much to survive. Good poem, it has a lot of meaning. |

I totally agree with you! Money does suck doesn't it? it remains the root to all evil. i wrote a poem just like this one. About how money is evil. I'll send it to you when i finally put it online, cause i havent yet.
Why do you fear money? moneys just paper. id burn a winning lotto ticket for my lover if he told me to. thats how much i hate money. it's to bad we need the crap though! one love- China aka shorty jewlz ;-) |
