Homicidal Tendencies
you know there are times times when i look back and wonder why? why did i do the things i did and why did i enjoy them so? the look, the feel holding that knife, pointing that gun the smell of the decomposing corpse rotting away in the bath tub with my unique brand of acids
there are nights when i have insomnia then there are nights when i sleep deep deep as a child dying in her mothers arms sometimes ill bash my head against the wall bash it so hard im knocked unconscious just anything to block out the undying screaming the unholy screaming that plagues me
the sounds, those chilling screams of my little brother as i watched him commit suicide when we were little we'd play in the mountains there was a cliff facing down into a shallow creek one day he stood at its edge and stretched out his arms whispering to himself he wanted to hug god
the sun light hit him in such a way his shadow was cast over me his shadow enveloped me with its darkness i reached out my arm and yelled "NO!" and he replied "dont worry god will catch me" then i saw him fall....
screaming those unholy chilling screams
having to coupe with his lose was mind shattering i saw his lifeless corpse at the creek side brains and blood scattered in a spherical shape still leaking into the brown shallow creek soon after that i had this mind numbing itch i started cutting my hands and side with a sharp kitchen knife soon i took it to my parents throat i knew they blamed me for my brothers death said i pushed him, pushed him to sure death
now theres this constant itching deep in my soul i have to scratch it with my knife, with a gun with anything that can kill....
i need to feel the souls leave the body and the heart stop beating put my mouth over theirs and still their last breath like the indians did with deer after chasing them down every time i stick a knife in someones belly or put a hollow point in their head i scratch that soul itch i have sometimes i even see my brothers face or his great decent into the unknown
lusting for the blood to flow free please god someone help me

i dont get what the numbers are at the end. awesome poem, there's a lot of poems about the brother committing suicide, i'm wondering if that that happened to you, or if it's just something you like to add in your poems. anways, that's so good a poem, very descriptive and i like how it's an itch. cuz you have to itch itches... |
