Sweet little Josephine Never seen sex on the movie screen Didnt know bad Never been truly sad Sweet little Josephine Only thirteen
Loved jumping on the trampoline Never worn Maybelline Still just wants to be a fairy queen
Sweet little Josephine No longer just a preteen Too cool for Mom and dad But really knows they're not so bad Sweet little Josephine Still young at fourteen
Wants to read a teen magazine Her parents want her in quarantine Cause shes still their little JellyBean
Sweet little Josephine Wont let her parents intervene And she wont wear plaid Cause she follows the fad Sweet little Josephine Already fifteen
Wants to change her name to Maxine In a rock band she plays tambourine And spends her weekends drinking caffeine
Sweet little Josephine Saving up money for gasoline The garage is her launching pad Spending all her time with her boyfriend Chad Sweet little Josephine Can hardly believe its her sweet sixteen
Always at the front of the scene Her life seems almost serene As she is crowned prom queen
Sweet little Josephine Makes all the girls turn envy green Catches the eyes of every lad But has never forgotten Chad Sweet little Josephine But now shes seventeen
Dates a boy on a submarine Parents want to keep her squeaky-clean To them shell always be like nectarine (they know shell never be obscene)
Sweet little Josephine Her future is no longer unseen Almost a grad Look at the times shes had Sweet Josephine Not so little now that shes eighteen
Her smile has a special glean Her life has a gorgeous sheen As it prepares to really convene
Her parents cant believe The woman shes become Whether fairy queen Or prom queen Or even queen of the college scene Shell always be their JellyBean Sweet little Josephine

This couldn't be a proud parent talking about their beloved child, could it? It is a great poem. She is proud I am sure.
Welcome to our YPDC family. I hope you will enjoy the talent and the wonderful people here.
Smiles,
