The darkness slips
Into a sunrise,
A red-orange glow
When moonlight dies.
Above the trees
In the morning skies,
Now darkness whispers
Its daily good-byes.
Sunlight hits
The moist ground,
The air is suddenly
Filled with sound.
The birds wake us,
Their songs resound
And it seems
Im almost spellbound.
Wouldnt it be nice
If each and every day
Would start itself out
In this same way?
For lately it seems
Darkness will stay
And daylight hides
Until it goes away.

seems rather sad in a way. but this was indeed a very beautiful and touching write. im sorry to admit i havent read any or your work, but now im planing on reading it from now on, you've got talent. i look forward to reading more. 5 stars. i liked this one alot.
