I was beaten down by Responsibility.
Let your tears wash away My insanity.
The frustration builds, My emotions swell.
I cant share my love, so Ill share my hell.
The pressures I have You cannot know.
The weight of the world Behind my blows.
My madness drowns out your painful cries.
The blackness hid the hurt in your eyes.
I came here today to try and explain
How I could love you so and cause you pain.
You wont talk to me. I understand.
I stole your tongue with the back of my hand.
Still, I appreciate this time you gave.
Ill leave these flowers by your grave.
I walk away from Elizabeth,
But my stare is over my shoulder.
Pink carnations and babys breath,
flowers for my love I told her.

| Oh my that is so sad.. I almost cried. I have been in an abusive relationship before so that poem really hit home. Very nicely written |
