A Grateful Heart

Fellow poets, you ease my mind, You lift my thoughts to stars divine, Regulating emotions I can't define, Illustrating muses in a gleaming line.
You've lifted my poetry up a notch, For this I'm grateful to you lot, My transition into the poetic world, Has filled my life with gems and pearls.
This grateful heart has to express, The thankful smile I do possess, You kind words have helped me through, These perfected words I owe to you.

Awwwwwwww, Hanna - You know I feel exactly the same way - AND - you know that you've inspired me! My poem, An Ounce of Wisdom, would not have existed without the inspiration that you provided. Thank you again for that!
Call me simple - but - this is the very best part of YPDC!
*Big Hug*

I meant to write it as
Your kind words have helped me through
These perfected writes I owe to you.
Sorry about the mistake.

There is no question that there are some wonderful and inspiring people on here.
Though I don't know too many as yet I can still feel their spirit through their work.

Such a true depiction I would say, at least. For I personally have wandered long and hard in the desolate desert of my own concoction to be rescued hence by the oasis of this place. Not true salvation perhaps but a peaceful repast for a wandering soul. I guess you to have this same experience hence you graceful applause in this sumptous rendition. But it admirably true so to speak that your own additions to this place is as spectacular perhaps as the collective individuals who make up this wonderful skien...a pattern of the utmost perfection. A hodge-potch collage perhaps but one encased in the best of all intentions. A great write by you and another acknowledgement of an oasis in the parchless desert that is YPDC.. to the poets and Mick a worthy salute indeed. |
