Can't you see time passing by
leaving all his trace on you
and as a flower that fade and die
you shall face the same ending too
When spring leaves his bud behind
for the summer to make it grow
the fall will come as a blind
and clean his way without a wow
the first moments of light the dawn
with all the rising that follows
but sooner the day will be gone
and for the sun to feel the sorrow
Youth is short so don't be coy
and be sure that time won't wait
cheer today and bring the joy
because tomorrow it will be late
