the times of innocence

Topic: SadPoetry

I still remember what I thought
About the world when I was younger.
Now when I am older
All experience that should make me stronger
Are bringing me closer to the edge.

Nothing is what it used to be
I've learned that nothing is what it seems.

I want to go back when I
Even didn't know when they lie
I just close my eye
But reality is still near by
Overcomes me, I can't keep hide.

Nothing is what it used to be
Nothing is what it seems.

Stay true with yourselves and do what's right
Even thought I tried
I need to take the mirror from my sight
I can't stand my reflection
I loathe all I've become.

Nothing is what it used to be
Nothing is what it seems.

Bro this is so True! I love it!
I know I hate being able to tell when people lie straight to me....
If only we could get out of this reality and get into our own....
