Dignity

Lifepoems

They scream, they shout, keep looking around, and turning about. They struggle, they strive, and cling to the rocks, where the valleys are too deep. They look with blind eyes, and search with closed hearts. But, in deeper sounds, one echo speaks. One ray - bright and clean, that only some have seen. A place of which only some can dream. For, the ground is too hard, the skies are too far, the mist is quiet, the winds dont speak. But in silence, the oceans pray and the skies kneel to the dignity that is life.

'The Dream In Between', as it were.
Nice write - a resonant theme for which most poets would enjoy.
Thanks for sharing. |

I love the meaning behind this! How many people desire good for themselves, but cannot truly live, because they cannot cast away their self-absorption and find the Source from which real life flows.
Now you have me rambling. Beautiful piece here.

To truly live. You've captured the essence of that. Thank you, and I mean it from my heart.
Take care.
