the scars show
where ive been.
the pain
too
hard
to
bear.
feelings
l-o-c-k-e-d
hidden
behind
the m-a-s-k
of pain,

depression.
lies
deceit.
all become normalcy.
normal.

Interesting and apt format for the poem I think.
I guess depression is something that people think they understand when the only people that really understand are the people who have suffered it too.
