Someone once asked me,
What am I looking for?
I could ask for nothing more
For I have all I should.
Someone once asked me,
Since youre on your own,
Are you alright alone?
Well, it dont feel too good.
I typically dont play hard to get
But once in a blue moon, Ill forget
And if he dont respect me
And he will neglect me
Then why even waste your breath?
And all I want is
My own boy from next door
Thats all Im looking for.
More than a friend.
And all I need is
My own boy from next door
Loving me more
And it never end,
It never end.
I clearly remember
Nights alone drinking
And all I was thinking
Was Im alone in a full bar.
I clearly remember saying
Maybe I meant to have no one
Maybe I got no someone
Except for my guitar
And all I want is
My own boy from next door
Thats all Im looking for.
More than a friend.
And all I need is
My own boy from next door
Loving me more
And it never end,
Look at my situation
Someone tell me
I need observation
I dont understand
Why I dont have a man
I just want more than
A friend.
I typically dont play hard to get
