Can hearts be lost
Can hearts be bought
Can hearts be damned
My heart
It beats a soft melodie
In the nothingness of my once was
Can hearts be betrayed
Can hearts be taunted
Can hearts be captive
Can hearts be taken
My heart
It beats to the left
When everyone else wants it to beat to the right
Can hearts be pure
Can hearts be blackened
Can hearts be bruised
Can hearts be no longer
In my right breast
Beats a small rhythm
A lonely lost heart

The answer to it all is YES..hearts can be all of those things and more.....I think we can all experience that too...nice write...
