Darkness

Its almost gone
But its not yet a tragedy
Just wait awhile
And then you will see
The tragedy comes at dawn

Weve had a nice long run
But the end is soon
Enjoy the time
Cause its almost done

Its almost gone
Just wait and see
The tragedy comes at dawn

I liked the black
The gray was nice
But with whats coming next
I dont like this track

Its almost gone
Just wait and see
The tragedy comes at dawn

I wish it didnt happen
I wish it could all stop
You see a boy before you
But soon youll see the men

Its almost gone
Just wait and see
The tragedy comes at dawn

Soon I will see your face
But I dont need to know that
I only need to know
The feeling of your embrace

Its almost gone
Just wait and see
The tragedy comes at dawn

So I find myself petrified
When it gets here-
Will you be gone?
I dont want to be denied

Its almost gone
Just wait and see
The tragedy comes at dawn

I dont want you to leave me
But you have no obligations
I guess when it comes
From me you will be free

Its almost here
But I dont understand
Why nature must always interfere

It seems to me to be the loss of a child's need and dependency on you as Nature intervenes and allows them to grow. The empty nest syndrome, perhaps?

This is a great poem. You have expressed your feelings brilliantly! You have talent, keep writing,

Noone.
