This was supposed to be a song
But it just didnt fit
As hard as I tried
There was no tune in it
I sat and thought a lot
About the good things
It just hurts so much
When your heart never sings
I look forward to a day
When this day was then
It will be so joyful
When I can sing again
Thinking of that time
I know it won't be long
In fact the beat is coming
I'm off to write a song
