I lost the greatest friend
That anyone could ever share
Whenever I had a problem
Ramon was always there
Then one awful night
I made a big mistake
That lost my best friend's trust
A perfect friendship began to break
As I begin to reminsce
I think of those lonely nights
When I poured out my struggles
And he held my secrets tight
Why couldnt I return the favor
By being the best friend I could be
Instead I was acting selfish
And only thought about me
Forever I will miss
How our friendship was so strong
And how he always supported me
When the storms seemed so long
I took our friendship for granted
I didnt tell him the truth
Now we go our separate ways
When we were partners most our youth
I wish hed understand
That I didnt mean to lie
I couldnt bare to see our friendship
Disapear or slowly die
Can he find room in his heart
To forgive a so called friend
And live up to our promise
Well be brothers till the end

Great write!!! Very painful... I share your pain in this... I once faced the same situation.. thank God we resolved our problems and our friendship is stronger than ever..so hold on to hope...things may be right again..
