My Puter

Contributed by ladyfawn on Thursday, 11th July 2002 @ 06:54:52 AM in AEST
Topic: HumorPoetry

Your mouse the only one I want
Inside my house as the others romp

Your hard drive is so very dear to me
Better than an ocean cruise of the seas

Blackouts during storms make you silent
I sit staring at your monitor and repent

Midnights to the bathroom tripping over a dog
Return to bed ? Ha! Online we must log!

Sometimes I long to hear your little 'ping'
Only you can do this for me it is like you sing

In my darkest hours of breaking loneliness
We can go online together; utter happiness

Throughout the Ages we travel in time
Your my best friend O' puter of mine

Sad opperations when you had to go away
Me waiting 4-U with open arms in the driveway

Donations to our brilliant tech well spent
This man who U+me know the Angels sent

Then it happened, I know you felt it too, You
lit up in that magic moment and again time flew

I think I am madly in love with my puter
And it must be a guy 'cause otherwise I'd
Shoot her.

I wouldn't put myself online for anyone but you and all the other million onliners.....hehehe
Lol, I know what you mean, my offline friends thought I had hibernated once. I limit myself now, as I am torn between my pc and clothes shopping......a difficult choice.
Great poem.
