to a blunt
a blunt to a bong
a dime to a QP
and then a ****** up song
a twenty to and eight
and eight
to a key
your as high as a bird
but you can never be set free
a bump to a line
a line to a shot
a shot to
the needle
when will it ever stop ??
You look back at it all
it is so hard to understand
my road has been a long one
but there's always a helping hand.
A joint to ease your mind
a snort to numb your brain
a needle to ease the pain
life just simply becomes insane !
NOTHING really matters
I've become so far gone
Please GOD TELL ME !!!
WHERE DID I GO WRONG ???
was it when I first lied,
or when I took my first hit
was it when I trusted someone
**** it, it still went to ****
was it when he held me
or when I ran away
Did I go wrong from the day I was born,
Has it always been this way ??
I'll never know LORD,
why I felt like I sold my soul
must have been the drugs
they took their final toll
NOTHING IS THE ANSWER
NOT THE DRUGS, NOT THE LOVE
NOT THE SIN. NOT THE THUGS
NOT THE PARTIES, NOT THE CHURCH
NOT THE PARENTS, NOT THE PRIESTS
NOT THE "GAME", NOR THE STREETS
IN WHICH I'VE LIVED.....
NOTHING IS THE ANSWER
YOU'LL JUST BREAK DOWN INSIDE
GATEWAY DRUG, GATEWAY TO HELL
IT ALL LEADS TO NOTHING...
YOU JUST SIMPLY DIE.
