My view of the world,
has become overshadowed,
all that was once beautiful,
has quickly shrivelled,
swiftly died,
my eyes show no colour,
no link to my soul,
the air is like tar,
I choke when I cry.
See that child?
from innocence born?
that babe was once me,
to a good life was sworn,
now all I can do,
is sit by and by,
in the darkness around me,
and watch the world die.
