Longing For a Dream
When I dream
I dream of you
When I awake
I pray my dream will come true
Yet when i see
See you
It makes me cry
Knowinng things will never be true
I sometimes hide
Then I may scream your name
How can i feel like this?
So much joy along with so much pain
I fall alseep
When day is done
My dream just ended
But my nightmare just begun
I long for you
To be in your arms
You'll protect me
Look out for any harm
Sometimes I think
Of what it coould be
How would it feel
For you to love me
But I'm fighting a battle
In which I'll never win
I fight and fight
And I wish for it to end
I want you so bad
I want to feel free
But you'll never see
How all I'm doing is longing for a dream.

I can totally relate to this poem... I... too had a crush and was crushed to find he didn't feel the same... but have since gotten over it...
Good poem... well expressed emotions.
