im running from my troubles
running from my past
not knowing where im going
told i was growing up too fast
people lied right to my face
told more behind my back
pointed out my many flaws
made public what i lack
friends seemed so reliable
so giving and so true
now i sit here thinking
why i let the bad seep through
im apart from everyone
trying to get away from the lies
im dying in my broken heart
am i the only one who cries?

Fantastic poem!
you've expressed your feelings, thoughts, and emotions very well.
i know how you feel. thats why i don't trust any one... but those i've known for years, but i know the truth that even them, will one day, betray me!
evey one cries, just some can cover it up easier thatn others. you wouldn't be human if you didn't cry!
you can't change your past, no one can. you future sounds quite misty but one day, you'll stand again.
i'll be here if you ever want to talk.
