Topic: oops

hide the tears unshed
protect the heart that bled
push away the friend
who lied about being there till the end

hold the screams inside
pull apart the hands entwined
lock the tall black gate
being hollow was my fate

hide my shameful sins
though they stab my heart like pins
run away before they see
look past the fake and find the real me

cry the tears unshed
give away the heart that bled
find another friend
who will promise to be there till the end
