Giving love to those in need
Forgetting who you used to be
Putting up with things that put you down
Living a lie to earn a crown
It feels like a pain inside my flesh
There is something I must have missed
Can you help me find the answer

Can you help to ease that pain that I feel inside
All alone in this darkness
All alone no one can see
Should I go into the darkness
Where no one will be except for me
I have tried to be humble
I have tried not to turn away
I have tried not to be evil
But I have been cast away

I really enjoyed this poem. This I how I feel towards my mother. My whole life I have done everything for her........to "win" her affection but no matter how hard I try.......I'm still just a "CastAway." Wonderfull and Beautifully written.
