Eternal Flame

Topic: LovePoetry

Sitting here silently,
Watching you breath.
Never thought this us,
Would be the best thing for me

You love me unconditionally,
Just as I love you.
You say Im your second half,
Well, its the same for me too.

Youve torn down the walls,
That once surrounded me.
Showed me a new life,
How theres so much more to be.

Whenever Im with you,
I cant describe the feeling.
And every touch or kiss you give,
Always sends me reeling.

Youve been my light through everything,
My candle and my flame.
Leading me through darkness,
And you know Id do the same.

You forgive my faults,
No matter how big or how small.
And if youve taught me one thing,
Its that you still love me when I fall.

You promised me forever,
No matter where we may be.
You opened up my eyes,
Youve finally let me see.

Youll die for me,
And me for you.
Thats what true love is, you said,
What counts is what you do.

Time will pass,
But our love will be forever.
Youre my light, and I am yours,
The flame will burn out never.

I love you,
Thats all that I can give.
Ill show you that forever,
In every single day we live
