Monday morning, 7 a.m. Survival today? Based on three hours sleep And this crippling ache right here, left side Chance would be a fine thing. My eyes sting. The easiest solution - shut tight again And slip into the santuary of sleep Where the reality of this loses itself To dreams. But the fact remains Responsibilities Time to be mature and deal with! So rising I muster some courage And brave the morning. Now I think, I pray I have enough to resurrect my deceased heart, My dead emotions Oh I don't know if I do But here I go. Some salvation in the habitual morning cup of tea Some...I say But entirely? No For I have become immune to The joyous taste of sugar Again.
