What a spectacular time of day
when everything is still, quiet, peaceful
there's no movement about
the birds are still sleeping
it would be a sin to shout
the picturess sight infront of me
looks too good for company
the colour tonings of the trees
blend in with the textures ground
in great harmony
It is so perfect
so pure
the scent it inherits
it's an instant cure
from the busy night before
I thank you God
for the crack of dawn
an innocent gift to view
for this I pray
in a loving way
so you give a morning dew
from this day on
I will be more appreciative
when I rise
and be thankful
instead of waking
closed eyed
yawning
in a blind
disguise

Great write!!! Although I am more of a night person, I do appreciate the beauty that the morning has to offer.... the few that I manage to see lol....
